Throughout the fall semester of the 2016-2017 school year, the Quality of Life Coalition will be providing the Happy Bear prevention program in Dickinson County schools. The purpose of the program is to educate kindergarten - third grade children about good and bad touch. Happy Bear is a costume that a volunteer wears during school presentations to help educate children on good and bad touch. Volunteers are also needed to read a script during the Happy Bear presentation. Training will be provided. We are seeking volunteers who can assist in one or more school districts in Dickinson County. Please contact the Quality of Life Coalition if you would like to volunteer or for additional information.
